Maintenance Electrician - 1st Shift

Electromechanical TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician, responsible for the upkeep and troubleshooting of various plant machinery and systems. This role is crucial in ensuring operational efficiency and safety within our facility.ResponsibilitiesWork on PLCs, robots, and electrical pumps to ensure smooth operation.Perform preventative maintenance on all plant machinery, including the Koji department, motors, pumps, and sealers.Troubleshoot electrical issues up to 480v and maintain responsibility for the entire building.Act as the first line of support to fix equipment issues when contractors have set up the installations.Ensure the proper operation of detection and alarm devices/systems, and maintain communication with related authorities.Perform all tasks in compliance with HACCP, GMP, SQF, Safety, or ISO standards, including necessary paperwork.Essential SkillsProficiency in PLC troubleshooting.Experience in preventative maintenance and electrical repair.Strong troubleshooting skills.5-6+ years of experience in the field.Some education in electrical studies.Additional Skills & QualificationsLongevity in previous roles is highly valued.Knowledge of safety and quality standards such as HACCP, GMP, SQF, and ISO.Why Work Here?Our company offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development.
