Our campus is locatedat 231 W Hancock St, Milledgeville, GA, 31061. Job Summary This position facilitates the University's program of recruitingand admitting students. Responsibilities Recruitment – 40 Limited travel to surrounding counties to attend PROBE and othercollege fairs in order to meet prospective students and theirparents. Answers questions from students and families and disseminatesliterature while attending these fairs and other recruitmentevents. Territory has shifted to a smaller territory that is more locallybased to limit the amount of overnight travel due to adding socialmedia responsibilities to the position. Travels to PROBE and other college fairs in order to meetprospective students and their parents. Reporting – 20 Holistically evaluates individual freshman and transferapplications, transcripts, test scores, and GPAs to make admissionsdecisions. Enters admissions decisions and other relevant data into studentinformation system. Knowledge of university admissions requirements. Proven driving skills, a good sense of direction, and a solidfamiliarity with the state's highway, roadway, and interstatesystem. Reporting Analysis – 15 Analyzes various applicant reports to look for trends in order toguide recruitment decisions and efforts. Uses data and trends to plan and recruit in a specific geographicterritory. Produces correspondence related to recruitment events andactivities involving prospective students, parents and high schoolcounselors. Also composes various letters and other correspondence that isdeemed necessary from particular situations. Familiarity with computers and software, especially BANNERStudent Information System. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and communicationskills, and polished public speaking. Media – 20 Produces content for all Admissions social media pages. Thisincludes producing the graphic design content for the social mediapages. Produces a calendar of plans for all social media posts with theguidance of the Admissions Managers. Collaborates with Admissions Managers regarding content forposts. Produces correspondence related to recruitment events andactivities. Other – 5 Other duties as assigned Proposed Salary This position is a pay grade 7 . The available salary range is$40,729. to $59,068.00 .
