Radiology - CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital CT Tech experience License: BLS Certifications: ARRT (R) Must-Have: Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital CT Tech experience BLS certification ARRT (R) certification Description:Travel position for a CT Tech.The role is located in a unit with 3 CT scanners, with plans for a 4th scanner.The unit has a total of 13 staff, including full-time, part-time, and PRN positions.Staffing includes a mix of charge, day techs, and mid-shift personnel.Patients are treated with a variety of CT procedures including stroke, trauma, head and chest scans, abdomen/pelvis, and CT angiography.The ideal candidate should exhibit a positive attitude, focus on customer service, and possess strong communication skills.Candidates must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and work independently.The facility is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence and Level 1 Trauma center.It features advanced CT technology with 512 and 128 slice scanners.
