Manager, Warehouse OperationsArthrex Inc. is hiring a Manager, Warehouse Operations to work at our Logistics Center East in Fort Myers, FL to be responsible for managing all internal warehouse operations to meet daily customer requirements. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitors SAP Warehouse Activity and PowerBI Dashboards to ensure teams meet internal and external customer requirementsSupervise, coach, mentor and train warehouse personnel to develop their skills/capabilities.Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to support customer requirements.Attend required meetings and training events for continuous professional developmentMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/conferences, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.Ensure processes and procedures are followed for self and team members per training and work instructions and drive updates as required; complete LMS training on time.Drive updates of work instructions and pFMEAs with supervisors.Participate in and encourage participation in team building events.Adhere to procedures for quarantine, hold, rework, primary, secondary and overflow locations along with proper labeling and segregation of product.Make employment decisions and ensure a harmonious and productive work environment through effective and periodic individual and team meetingsConduct annual employee performance and compensation reviews.Document coaching and Performance Correction Notices for team member accountability.Identify, coordinate, assign and implement warehouse projects as necessary to meet corporate goals and objectivesManage projects for the warehouse that may involve software upgrades, equipment installations, facility relocations or expansions; support training for new technologies.Achieve financial objectives by preparing annual budget for shipping and monitors expenditures against budgetFacilitate communication with outside service providers.Facilitate communication and cooperation across the organization to ensure departments and processes collaborate to meet corporate objectives.Demonstrate commitment to safety by enforcing compliance of safety policies; reports all safety hazards and/or concerns to Warehouse Operations Manager and/or EH&S representative.Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal laws, and regulations regarding, timekeeping, and employment law.Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. 5 years supervisory experience required 5 years warehouse experience required SAP WM and IM experience, preferred Warehouse layout experience required Experience with picking and packaging systems preferredKnowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Detailed knowledge of warehousing best practices and procedures. Able to analyze costs to determine and implement opportunities for improvement. Extensive project management skills in coordinating the efforts of contract vendors and multi-discipline projects Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: Proficient in MS Office tools. Experience in SAP WM and IM. Language and Communication Skills: Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
