Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, rotating days including weekends) | 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
• Manage emergency room patients across varying acuity levels

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), or TEAM-A certification
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of emergency room nursing experience; candidates with less experience but significant patient volume exposure will be considered
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
