What You'll Do

• Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy
• Independently operate radiology equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with protocols
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort
• Review images for quality and appropriateness prior to transmission
• Use radiology information systems to facilitate patient care and documentation
• Assist with departmental operations, including inventory, equipment maintenance, and scheduling
• Adapt communication and service methods to meet the needs of diverse patient populations
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols
• Perform quality control procedures and address any issues promptly
• Ensure patient privacy and comfort at all times

What You Need

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program
• ARRT registration and current unrestricted license in the state of practice
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in using imaging equipment and health information systems
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed

• Prior experience in a clinical radiology setting, including cath labs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
