RN - Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health

Building Location: Building D - Miller Dwan Medical Center (EH Duluth). Department: 2043310 CHILD AND ADOLESCENT - SMDC HOSP. Responsibilities Organize and provide care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Serve as a team leader and delegate aspects of care to nursing personnel based on licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, serving the community. Meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies. Provide direct patient care to acute mental health patients and support families with education and updates. Qualifications BSN or ADN degree from an accredited nursing school. Behavioral health experience as RN, BHT, or intern/capstone student preferred. Current nursing licensure in Minnesota. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month of hire. Employment Details 0.8 FTE. 8‑hour shifts with day/night rotation. Every other weekend. Shift start times: 0700 (day) and 2300 (night); shift end times: 1530 (day) and 0730 (night). Holidays: yes. No call obligation. Union affiliation: Miller Dwan MNA RNs (MDRN) Union. Compensation range: $45.03 – $68.87. Possible remote/hybrid option.
