Private Process Server - Carroll County, MD (Independent Contractor)
ProVest LLC - Civil Process Service

ProVest LLC is seeking a Private Process Server or Process Serving Agency to provide reliable and professional civil process service in Carroll County, Maryland.

Including cities:

Westminster

Eldersburg

Sykesville

Taneytown

Hampstead

Location Requirement:
Applicants must reside in or currently serve within a 45-mile radius of Carroll County.

Position Overview

This is a 1099 independent contractor position , with weekly compensation based on completed jobs . We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented professionals with experience in legal document delivery.

Ideal candidates include:

Licensed Private Investigators
Experienced Process Servers
Current or Former Law Enforcement Professionals

Key Responsibilities

Make diligent service attempts:
Collections : Up to 5 attempts (varied times: morning, evening, weekend, etc.)
Non-Collections : 2 diligent attempts (morning and evening)
Activate cases within 24 hours of receiving documents (via FedEx or email)
E-sign all eligible affidavits within 48 hours of service completion
Utilize ProVest's mobile applications to:
Upload photo evidence of addresses
Submit detailed attempt notes
Record service or non-service outcomes

Requirements

Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
Active auto insurance
Smartphone with ability to run mobile applications
Strong communication and documentation skills
Commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $500.00 per week
