We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Enrollment Agent to assist customers with selecting and enrolling in insurance plans. This position will involve a combination of inbound and outbound phone calls, answering customer questions, explaining available coverage options, and guiding customers through the enrollment process.

Insurance Enrollment Agent Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 19.00 to $ 21.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

Responsibilities:

• Make and receive phone calls to assist customers with insurance enrollment.
• Educate customers on available insurance plans, coverage options, and benefits.
• Ask questions to understand customers' needs and help identify appropriate plan options.
• Accurately complete customer enrollment applications and required documentation.
• Follow up with customers as needed throughout the enrollment process.
• Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions.
• Meet established call, enrollment, quality, and customer service goals.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed for Life and Health insurance
• Experience with open enrollment and Obama Care strongly preferred
• P&C (property and casualty) experience preferred
• Experience using Health Sherpa or similar systems is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and friendly phone presence.
• Strong customer service and active listening skills.
• Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of phone calls.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to explain information clearly and professionally.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.
• Previous insurance, call center, sales, or customer service experience required.
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
