About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Security to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its information security program. The successful candidate will be the senior-most authority on security risk, governance, and resilience, responsible for establishing and maintaining enterprise-wide security direction, policies, and safeguards. This role involves ensuring that security practices align with organizational goals and regulatory expectations, overseeing daily IT and security operations, and leading risk assessments, security audits, and mitigation planning efforts. The Vice President will also be tasked with presenting security reports, risk updates, and recommendations to executive leadership and the Board, as well as managing the IT and cybersecurity budget and business continuity planning. Applicants for the Vice President of Information Security position at the company should have a Master’s degree (preferred) or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant professional certification, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 8-10 years' of related information security or cybersecurity experience. A background in the financial services industry is preferred. The role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk management principles, as well as proven leadership experience in managing teams and complex security operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to engage with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership and Board members. Experience with security audits, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation is essential, as is the ability to stay current on emerging cybersecurity and technology trends and assess their applicability to the organization.
