Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience and travel experience required License: TX nursing license required Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required prior to starting Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other medical/surgical/telemetry units as assigned Must have experience with up to 6:1 patient ratios Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the observation unit. The role requires experience in a fast-paced environment, managing patients with diverse medical needs. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team. The position involves floating to other units as needed to support patient care demands. Familiarity with charting systems, particularly Cerner, is preferred. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services to patients. All candidates must comply with vaccination requirements as outlined. NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to starting in the position.
