Associate Attorney (Greater Tampa Bay Area)

Most junior attorneys spend years buried in document review before they see a courtroom. This isn't that job.

Vinson Law P.A. is a plaintiff's toxic tort products liability litigation firm representing individuals — many of them aging Navy veterans — diagnosed with mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases. We are hiring an attorney to join our Tampa office and develop a nationwide caseload with hands-on mentorship from the start.

The Role

You will build toward carrying your own cases from initial client contact through trial (with help), with the pace matched to your experience. That means legal writing, conducting depositions, and arguing motions — not sitting on the sidelines. You'll work directly with clients, co-counsel, and medical experts across multiple jurisdictions.

Our clients are facing life-threatening diagnoses, and many are elderly or seriously ill. This work requires sensitivity, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine desire to advocate for people during the most difficult period of their lives.

What We're Looking For

• Florida Bar license (required)
• 0–5 years of litigation experience (recent admits, judicial clerks, and laterals all welcome)
• Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a growing caseload independently
• Willingness to travel occasionally — our practice is nationwide, and while most appearances are handled remotely, some in-person work is expected

Compensation

$100,000+ based on experience, plus significant bonus opportunities. Total compensation in prior years has significantly exceeded base salary.
