Description: About the Facility: Level III Trauma Center Level III NICU Magnet Designation Primary Stroke Center 636 Beds Unit Information: 5 diagnostic beds, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 video swallow room, clinic with 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, 1 dental room Average of 15-20 patients per technologist per day Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Inpatient, Outpatient, ED, Procedural, all age ranges, limited pediatrics Required Skills: Surgical/Procedure skills, General Imaging skills, Portable Imaging skills Fluoroscopy experience with ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases Experience in the OR for ortho, general surgeries, and spinal procedures Comfortable with O-arm is preferred Support within the Department: Lead technologist on first shift Radiologist on-site 24/7 14 technologists on days, 7 on second shift, 3 on third shift Radiologic Technologist available 24/7 Hospitalist and Intensivist available 24/7 Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC X-ray equipment: GE, Fuji, Del Medical PACS: McKesson C-arm: GE 9900 and Elites, Medtronic O-arms Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other weekend On-call schedule: One call shift per week First call: 0630-1400, Second call: 1400-2230, Third call: 2230-0630 Holiday expectations: One holiday per contract Approval of RTO goes through manager Shift Times: Generally flex 1-1.5 hours between start times, depending on staffing needs Schedule cycle: Monday to Friday and every other weekend One day off during the week leading up to the work weekend, and one day off the week following work weekend Other Notes: Scrub color: Surgery scrubs provided in-house Unit culture: Fast-paced with a high acuity of patients
