This position requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and travel experience is mandatory. Please submit all requests for time off (RTO) with your profile submission. Scheduling will be at the discretion of the unit manager.

Unit Details
  • Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
  • Daily Census: 27
  • Number of Rooms: 32
  • Patient Diagnoses: Various post-surgical patients, including those recovering from robotic and laparoscopic-assisted procedures, bariatric surgeries, colon resections, thyroidectomies, hernia repairs, appendectomies, gallbladder surgeries, and biliary issues. Med-Surg patients may also be included, with a substantial post-surgical presence.
Additional Information
  • Interdisciplinary Support: Includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary support.
  • Orientation:

    • Day 1: Virtual
    • Day 2: On-site
    • Day 3: On-site (additional training and EMR education)

Floating Requirements

Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital as needed.


Additional Notes

Candidate's permanent residence must be greater than 50 miles from the facility. Local candidates will not be accepted.
