Join our Distribution Team and drive process improvements, ensure timely delivery, and help keep products moving across our supply chain. The primary purpose of this position is to support the department in meeting or exceeding the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of that department within a distribution facility. Assist Manager with the implementation of operational goals and monitoring performance against operating budget. Identify potential barriers to maximizing productivity and identify resources necessary to eliminate the barriers. Identify opportunities to improve productivity or resolve potential labor issues. Resolve union/collective bargaining agreement issues when applicable. Communicate union/collective bargaining agreement issues with leadership when applicable. Implementation and Execution Coordinates all efforts between the facility's shipping, receiving, inventory control, safety, and sanitation departments to ensure optimal facility service and productivity. Monitor all OJT, and schedules necessary to create consistency and balance between departments within the DC. Monitor warehouse for indications of union organizing and report findings to senior leadership. Work with Security to ensure adherence to established security procedures. What You Will Bring Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Logistics or related field or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in logistics, warehousing, and/or transportation, preferably within a retail organization. Knowledge of warehouse management systems; inventory control; shipping, receiving; productivity management systems, quality management; OSHA regulations; and state safety regulations. Sound knowledge of financial analysis and budgeting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated leadership and managerial skills that generate mutual respect and understanding; strong interpersonal, coaching, conflict management, process improvement and change management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Must be able to take assignments in any warehouse/distribution center on any shift. Salary range is between $68,325.00 - $91,100.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr Giant Food
