Pay Rate: $19.00/hour (Seasonal, 6-8 months, possibly longer)Shift: Must be capable of staying past shift if work is not completed What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Assisting in day-to-day operations of the plant and warehouse
• Managing the overall process at the plant level from seed treatment to packaging by seed count
• Operating both manual and automated seed count and bagging equipment
• Tracking and maintaining accuracy of seed/lbs, bag weights, bag inventory, bag appearance, and treater accuracy
• Participating in seed count, bagging, and treating operations
• Operating and managing automatic seed sampling equipment
• Assisting in seed counts for packaging and QA samples
• Entering plant monitoring data for treating/packaging area
• Monitoring packaging appearance and printing
• Monitoring treatment process for application accuracy
• Performing general repairs of bag placers, baggers, treater, and palletizer
• Performing cleanup during variety changes
• Assisting with inventory counts and carryover blending process
• Meeting safety requirements
• Performing other tasks as directed by management

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, seed production, ginning, seed conditioning, or relevant farm/mechanical work
• Are knowledgeable in OSHA Lockout Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry (CSE), and other safety requirements
• Demonstrate strong mechanical abilities and are maintenance oriented, with the ability to perform equipment repairs
• Are able to handle 50 lb bags
• Communicate effectively and thrive in a team atmosphere environment
