Sales Representative - Cape May County

Description D.R. Horton, Inc. is the largest homebuilder in the U.S., constructing entry‑level and first‑time move‑up homes and providing mortgage and title services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers. Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges, establishing DR Horton as the best solution. Overcome objections and close sales. Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction. Continuously source new sales opportunities. Create and provide marketing plans for establishing new customer relationships. Network and perform outreach to realtors. Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and work effectively with team members. Maintain and expand a database of prospects. Attend sales meetings. Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members. Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit. Qualifications Associate’s Degree or 2 years of related experience. Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during daytime or nighttime. Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or application form. Proficiency with MS Office and email. Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, sit for extended periods, kneel and bend, walk on uneven terrain, use hands for handling, and lift or move up to 25 pounds. Regular exposure to outside weather conditions. Acceptable noise level is generally moderate. Preferred Qualifications Licensing requirements vary by state. Prior CRM software experience. Previous sales experience and industry knowledge preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong motivation and drive.
