Biomedical Equipment Technician I - Full-Time - Days

Role Overview Provides technical support in testing, repairing, and maintaining lower end and complex medical devices, including electronic test equipment and various medical instruments. Ensures compliance with safety standards, documents performance, and troubleshoots equipment issues. Maintains inventory, sterilization, and organization of biomedical supplies and workspace. Responsibilities Calibrates, tests, and documents biomedical equipment performance Performs troubleshooting and repairs, requesting specialized service when necessary Manages supplies inventory and equipment sterilization Maintains a safe, organized testing environment Qualifications & Skills Associates degree in Science or related field; equivalent work experience accepted Entry-level experience in medical equipment repair preferred Critical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, and accountability skills Ability to build positive relationships and respond to changing needs Physical & Working Conditions Moderate physical activity including bending, kneeling, lifting, and reaching Proficient in computer use and handling mechanical parts Working in environments with potential hazards such as noise and mechanical risks Additional Details Day shift, with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance Equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion Employment contingent upon assessments and clearances #J-18808-Ljbffr Aura Health
