Job Summary We are seeking a CT Technologist to ensure high quality, efficient patient care using CT imaging technology. Responsibilities Obtain quality CT images of patients, following established protocols and adjusting protocols as required. Comply with radiation safety guidelines for patient and self; appropriately utilize personal protective equipment; operate CT scanner safely. Perform all necessary computer operations (e.g., Meditech); ensure proper charges are entered and referring physician orders are verified. Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner. Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures; monitor inventory and maintain cleanliness. Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, performing biopsies and other patient care tasks. Review each exam for technical accuracy (e.g., technical quality, anatomical positioning, annotation) and complete verification process in PACS. Assist the Facility System Administrator and CT Supervisor with PACS clean‑up (e.g., unarchived images, verifications, unspecified image reporting). Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients in accordance with HIPAA policy. Complete and maintain personal educational requirements. Qualifications Graduate of an AMA‑approved School of Radiologic Technology. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) member. ARRT – CT Technology Certification (required within 6 months of hire). American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. One‑year experience as a CT technologist (preferred).
