  • Perform operational checks and functional testing following maintenance, repair, installation, or component replacement.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies reported by pilots or maintenance personnel or identified during inspections; perform corrective actions within assigned qualifications and maintenance authorization.
  • Assist with avionics modifications, upgrades, installations, and aircraft configuration changes as required.
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft systems, components, and assemblies within the scope of assigned qualifications and responsibilities.
  • Assemble and install electrical, avionics, mechanical, and associated aircraft components using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  • Remove and install aircraft components and perform required operational or functional tests in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals.
  • Support aircraft launch, recovery, pre-flight, post-flight, and flight-line maintenance activities as assigned.
  • Coordinate with aircraft mechanics, pilots, maintenance leadership, engineering personnel, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and minimize aircraft downtime.
  • Support aircraft-on-ground (AOG) and other time-sensitive maintenance requirements to maintain fleet availability and mission readiness.
  • Perform inspections and corrective maintenance on assigned ground support and aircraft support equipment.
  • Maintain tools, test equipment, and assigned work areas in a safe, clean, organized, and serviceable condition.
  • Maintain accurate and complete maintenance records documenting inspections, discrepancies, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, modifications, component changes, and operational checks.
  • Complete aircraft maintenance documentation in accordance with company procedures and applicable FAA, military, customer, and contractual requirements.
  • Refer to maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, technical orders, workbooks, and other approved technical publications to determine maintenance and installation requirements.
  • Ensure tools and test equipment are appropriate, serviceable, and within required calibration intervals.
  • Participate in quality assurance inspections and audits and correct identified discrepancies as required.
  • Follow applicable company, OSHA, FAA, customer, environmental, foreign object damage (FOD) prevention, tool-control, and safety requirements.
  • Protect proprietary, classified, export-controlled, and other sensitive information in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Assist with development and continuous improvement of maintenance procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting practices, and maintenance processes.
  • Coordinate with Supply and Procurement personnel to identify and obtain avionics components, wiring materials, connectors, consumables, and other required parts.
