Wieland is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator . The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for administrative functions which support the HR team and maintains HR customer service as a top priority. In addition to working closely with the HR team, this role works closely with the HR & Labor Relations Manager and Production Supervisors. This role is located in East Alton, IL and will be fully on-site. While this role is local, some travel may be required. Role Salary Range: $54,000 - $70,000 annually. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc. Responsibilities Human Resources Coordinator Responsibilities: Responsible for tracking and reporting weekly and monthly data for Union and HR department. Responsible for grievance scheduling and all disciplinary support. Responsible for all administrative duties to support labor relations. Track attendance and leaves of absence; coordinates with the Leave Management team. Serves as the lead HRIS administrator, maintaining and updating system changes including pay progressions, job bid and shift changes. Maintain employee and training records. Administers services awards and assists with company events - job fairs, benefits related, retirees, luncheons, etc. Serve as a liaison to Supervisors and Production employees, providing prompt follow up to HR related questions and issues. Assists with interviewing and onboarding of new hires as needed; serves as a backup to the HR Generalist. Assists with large projects and initiatives (I-9 Audit, compliance training). Human Resources Coordinator Qualifications: Minimum associates degree in business, human resources, or related field, plus three years related experience. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, HRIS and timekeeping systems) Good Excel skills. Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and prompt follow through. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Possess high ethical standards; maintains confidentiality. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
