You will support monitoring activities within the Ground Segment systems, detect issues, and ensure smooth data flow and operations.For this role, relocation to Prague is mandatory for candidates living far from the area.A B2 level of English is required due to daily interactions with ESA teams and international stakeholders.YOUR TASKSMonitor Ground Segment systems and servicesDetect, analyze and respond to system alarms and anomaliesCheck system performance (data flow, completeness, latency)Support investigation of incidents and escalate when neededMaintain operational logs and contribute to incident reportingProduce regular operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly)Collaborate with service management and engineering teams to ensure smooth operationsLiaise with ESA and Ground Segment partners when operational issues ariseYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMinimum 2–3 years of experience in systems monitoring or service monitoringExperience working in operational IT environmentsUnderstanding of monitoring tools and operational workflowsAbility to analyze issues and troubleshootGood knowledge of LinuxBasic shell scripting knowledgeGood English communication skillsNice to haveFamiliarity with DockerExperience in Earth Observation or Ground Segment environmentsItalian is a plus.WHO YOU AREProactive and analyticalDetail-orientedComfortable working in an operational environmentA team player with strong communication skillsAble to react calmly and effectively to operational issuesEXTRA INFORMATIONLocation: PragueWork location: Hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days remoteStart: ImmediateEligibility:EU Citizens, orNon-EU Citizens already based in the EU with a valid work permitThis is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to European space missions, supporting Earth Observation platforms and large-scale scientific initiatives.Once we receive your CV, we will take the time to evaluate it carefully.
