Residential House Cleaner

Job Description

Job Description

Enjoy turning a lived-in house into a clean, comfortable home? Join Southern Shine Cleaning Company LLC, a local, woman-owned residential cleaning company where your attention to detail and hard work are valued.

We're hiring a part-time Residential House Cleaner to clean homes in Fernandina Beach, Yulee, Callahan, and surrounding areas. Cleaning experience is welcome, but not required. We provide paid training for motivated, dependable people.

Pay, schedule, and perks:

• $19/hour during your first 30 days of paid training, then an automatic increase to $20/hour. Growth potential up to $25/hour based on performance.
• Part-time: 15-25 hours per week.
• Weekday daytime work, Monday-Friday, within 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Eastern. No evening or weekend shifts.
• W-2 employment with direct deposit every two weeks. Non-cash tips are paid every two weeks.
• A supportive small team, with scheduling flexibility for personal appointments and family commitments.

What you'll do:

Help clients enjoy cleaner, more welcoming homes through standard, deep, and move-in/move-out residential cleaning. You'll clean up to two homes per day, working independently or with a small team.

• Clean kitchens and bathrooms; scrub and sanitize surfaces.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop with an eye for the details.
• Complete additional tasks such as interior appliance and inside window cleaning.
• Treat clients, their homes, and their belongings with care and professionalism.

What you'll need:

• A dependable vehicle to travel to client homes throughout our service area.
• Availability for weekday daytime work within Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Eastern. This is a 15-25-hour role, not a 40-hour position.
• Reliability, a positive attitude, and pride in doing a thorough job.
• Ability to perform active, hands-on cleaning work, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Previous house cleaning, housekeeping, or other cleaning experience is a plus. New to professional cleaning? If you're willing to learn and enjoy caring for a home, we encourage you to apply.

A local team that values you:

Owner Christina R. Guardiola values both our clients and the people who care for their homes. At Southern Shine, you'll be part of a supportive, woman-owned local business and see the difference your work makes for people in our community.
