Bids & Tender Specialist (Central-West)

Our client in the Build and Design industry is searching for a Bids & Tender Specialist who can manage all RFPs and incoming leads end‑to‑end, ensuring an organised and timely process. Responsibilities Handle incoming leads and opportunities, and compile for Management’s qualifications. Lead the development of compelling and compliant RFP responses and pitch decks. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including subject matter experts, to gather information and develop proposal content. Organise and disseminate tender addendums and clarifications and provide timely responses. Ensure that RFP submissions meet all requirements, including those related to format, content and timeline. Manage the proposal process from start to finish, including coordination of internal and external resources, review and approval processes and submission. Prepare presentation slides and materials for tender interviews. Assist Management in handling Agreement/Contract on awarded projects. Develop and maintain a library of reusable proposal content, including case studies, testimonials, staff Curriculum Vitae and boilerplate texts. Maintain a strong and cohesive set of sales and RFP documentation in line with Conexus branding guidelines. Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends, market developments and customer needs and incorporate this knowledge into proposal development. Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients. Support and drive improvements in processes, collaborating with various departments. Requirements 5 years and above of experience in proposal development, bid management, or a similar role in a relevant industry. Experience in sectors in Design and Build and frequently engage in tender and RFP process will be an advantage. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and across all functions. Awareness of trends in the market or industry to tailor bids for competitive advantage. Good analytical and research skills. Good attention to detail and high quality of work. Excellent ability to manage concurrent projects and tasks while meeting competing deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office Microsoft Word & PowerPoint.
