Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of previous experience required At least 1 travel contract completed preferred License: State license in Illinois required State license in Iowa required Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines experience required Experience with medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban; some titration required Skills checklist must have been completed within 1 year of submission date Profile must include a driver's license Work history/resume required License verification required References - 1 supervisory reference required at the time of submission Taxable address must be outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The position requires working 1-2 of the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day. Position involves giving and receiving on-call duties as necessary. Job expectations include performing a variety of nursing tasks and responsibilities. Effective communication and collaboration with team members are essential. Candidates must not have been employed within the last 12 months.
