Description
Make a Real Impact in Your Community! Are you passionate about helping individuals overcome substance abuse and reclaim their lives? At Community Solutions, Inc. (CSI), we believe in second chances and providing the support people need to succeed. For over 60 years, we've been a pioneer in community-based services, transforming lives through innovative programs for individuals involved in the child welfare, juvenile justice, or criminal justice systems.
Join our mission-driven team as an MST Therapist at our CSI Secaucus, NJ location. You'll play a key role providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to youth, their families, communities, and other key members. The MST Therapist will provide intensive, home-based therapy to adolescents and their families who are involved in the juvenile justice system or at risk of out-of-home placement. MST Therapists can be required to drive within 90 minutes from the CSI Secaucus, NJ Office. This role is community-based and requires travel to locations in the Secaucus, NJ area.
What is Multisystemic Therapy (MST)? Multisystemic Therapy (MST) typically targets chronic, violent, or substance-abusing juvenile offender ages 12 through 17. MST's home-based therapy design helps overcome barriers to service, increases family retention in treatment, allows for the provision of the intensive services (i.e., therapists have a maximum of 6 cases), and enhances the maintenance of successful behavior change.
Why Work with Us?

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Multisystemic Therapy, incorporating relevant evidence-based interventions and strategies.
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions to at-risk youth and their families, and collaborate with other key members.
- Implement crisis management strategies as needed to address immediate safety concerns for clients and their families.
- Participate in individual and group supervision training to enhance clinical skills and ensure fidelity to the MST model.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, including sessions notes, treatment plans, and outcome measures.
- Collaborate with other professionals and service providers involved in client's ecosystem, including social services, schools, court, mental health agencies, etc.
