Automation Technician

-Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all safety and environmental practices and procedures.

-Develop and execute energy isolation plans for maintenance activities.

-Operate and monitor plant and process equipment and associated systems.

-Maximize production by maintaining equipment runtime and ensuring equipment operates within product specifications.

-Complete daily equipment read-ups and follow up on parameters outside of normal operating ranges.

-Troubleshoot operational, mechanical and electrical equipment issues.

-Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

-Identify required maintenance on plant equipment and related systems and complete computer work orders.

-Prepare plant equipment and piping systems for maintenance activities.

-Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to address equipment issues and support production.

-Develop and update work instructions, SOPs and process sheets as needed.

-Build and assemble modules or equipment needed to support production when issues arise.

-Support robotics and automation equipment as needed.

-Share knowledge with co-workers and contribute to team goals and objectives.

-Maintain required training and emergency preparedness skills to assist with plant emergencies.

-Maintain a clean, safe and organized production environment.

Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial or production environment

-Strong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance experience

-Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment and machinery

-Electrical troubleshooting experience
