Legal Operations Associate

Annual Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 per year Compensation Note: Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience. About the Role This opportunity is for a Legal Operations Associate who will support the launch and ongoing maintenance of venture capital firms around the world. This role focuses on fund paperwork, fund operations, formation, governance, compliance, and related legal operations matters. The ideal candidate has a paralegal, legal operations, or fund operations background, with experience performing legal work under attorney supervision. Venture capital experience is helpful, but not required. What You’ll Do Support the formation, maintenance, and governance needs of general partners and their funds around the world. Assist with fund operational matters from formation through governance, compliance, and ongoing maintenance. Support work across current and potentially expanding fund domiciles. Coordinate with legal partners in preparing fund formation and governance agreements. Work with SaaS tools designed for venture capital firms and fund operations. Help take ownership of fund client accounts and relationships. Contribute in a fast-paced startup environment where team members may support a wide range of business needs. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in legal operations, fund operations, or related legal work. Experience performing legal work under attorney supervision. Paralegal, legal operations, or fund operations background. Strong professional phone and videoconferencing presence. High digital literacy and ability to learn new software quickly. Strong ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Ability to stay composed in high-stress situations. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High emotional intelligence and strong intuition. Proactive attitude toward tackling opportunities and challenges. Ability to create logical solutions to complex problems. Detail-oriented and analytical approach, especially with legal agreements. Ability to thrive in a fast-growing business. Flexible and adaptable working style. Nice to Have 2+ years of experience in venture capital. Experience working in a startup. Experience working in a startup or incubator. Experience working with startup financings. SaaS experience.
