Account Manager — Small Business Clients (Remote)

For 20 years we’ve helped small businesses get the working capital they need to grow. Over 70% of our clients come back to us more than once, and we’re hiring an Account Manager to look after them.

You’ll manage a book of business owners who already know us. Your job is to stay in touch, learn where each business is headed, and make sure they come to us first when they need more funding. Most of the day is spent on the phone, talking with owners about their businesses and what they need next.

The position offers a base plus uncapped commissions with excellent benefits and room for professional growth

Account Manager Duties

• Reach out to your clients regularly, especially as their current funding nears its end
• Learn each business well enough to spot when more capital would help, and start the conversation
• Set up renewals and new funding, then hand them to our closing team to finalize
• Be the person clients call with questions, and keep them updated along the way
• Track your accounts and conversations in Salesforce

Account Manager Requirements

• You’ve worked in a role built around talking with customers or clients all day, such as client services, customer success, support, account coordination, banking or hospitality
• People describe you as easy to talk to and good at following through
• You like building relationships over time more than one-and-done transactions
• You’re organized and dependable working from home

Pay, schedule and benefits

• Base plus commission, with on-target earnings of $85,000–$95,000
• Fully remote, anywhere in the US, with a laptop provided
