About the Role:

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and a welcoming environment within the Club. This position ensures that public areas, locker rooms, and service spaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and overall operational excellence. The Housekeeper will manage a variety of cleaning tasks, including floor care, dusting, and waste disposal, while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential to meet daily cleaning schedules and respond promptly to guest requests. Ultimately, the Housekeeper supports the establishment’s reputation by creating a comfortable and hygienic atmosphere for all guests and staff members.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read, and write in English to understand instructions and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including reaching overhead and floor care.
• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic mathematical skills to perform simple computations related to inventory or cleaning supplies.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the accommodation or food service industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in hospitality housekeeping or cleaning safety procedures.
• Experience using commercial cleaning equipment and environmentally friendly cleaning products.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to accommodation and food service environments.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational needs.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards guest service and workplace collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of member areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness in clubhouse areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms to ensure a pleasant environment.
• Follow detailed oral and written instructions to complete daily cleaning checklists and special requests.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely, ensuring proper floor care and maintenance.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning to the maintenance department.
• Communicate clearly in English with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and understand instructions.
