Gate Operator Installation Manager

Job Description

The Gate Operator Installation Manager will lead and oversee the installation of gate operator systems primarily for commercial and industrial projects. This role involves managing a small team of 1-5 members, ensuring installations meet quality and safety standards while maintaining project schedules and budgets. The manager will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to optimize project planning and execution. Occasional travel is expected.

Responsibilities

Oversee gate operator installation projects from start to finish
Coordinate and lead a team of 1-5 installation technicians
Mange projects on the production side of the business
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards
Communicate effectively with vendors and dept. managers
Manage equipment and materials necessary for installations
Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure timely completion
Address and resolve installation challenges promptly

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in gate operator installation

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of electrical systems related to gate operators
Experience in project management
Strong team leadership abilities
Understanding of safety standards and compliance
Vendor management skills
Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Effective scheduling and communication capabilities
Commitment to quality control throughout the installation process
