Sterile Processing Tech II

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Sterile Processing Tech II who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Sterile Processing Tech II you will:

• Disassemble, clean, assemble, sterilize and store procedure trays instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques under direct supervision
• Complete requests to dispense equipment and supplies and assists in maintaining and processing patient charge records and maintaining department inventory

Qualified candidates will possess:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year experience in a Sterile Processing department preferred
• Certification from an accredited organization
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 7a-3:30p PM Monday through Friday
• Shift Type: Day
• Weekend Requirements: Required/Rotating
• Holiday Requirements: Required/Rotating/Follow company holiday calendar
• On-Call: no
• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes
• Training Schedule is 7a-3:30p Monday-Friday

Pay Range:

$20.07 - $26.42

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue.
