The platform integrates revenue cycle management, accounting, human resources, EHR support, payer contracting, compliance, supply‑chain logistics, and data intelligence, allowing physicians to focus on patient care while maintaining ownership and autonomy. Position Overview This role is for physicians who want to establish or transition into an independently operated medical practice that is supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and govern their practice entity and clinical operations, while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. The position is not an employment arrangement; the physician is a separate practice owner. Opportunity Description We work with physicians who are seeking to: Start a new private practice Transition from employment to ownership Convert an existing practice to a supported model Relocate and establish a practice in a new market Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope Develop professional relationships within the medical community Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO as required Determine clinical services offered Manage clinical quality and patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided Eligibility for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets are available (urban, suburban, and rural).
