About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Travel EEG Technologist for a 13-week assignment in a fast-paced hospital setting. The EEG Tech will be responsible for performing routine and continuous electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing neurological conditions.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with neurologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. This position offers consistent day shifts, guaranteed hours, and a supportive clinical environment focused on high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, ambulatory, and continuous EEG recordings
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing processes
• Monitor and document brainwave activity accurately
• Recognize and report abnormal findings to physicians
• Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements

• Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T)
• Minimum 2 years of recent EEG experience in a hospital setting
• Active BLS certification (AHA)
• Strong knowledge of EEG monitoring equipment and neurodiagnostic procedures
• Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
