The General Manager is the senior-most executive responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and member experience of a new luxury private club and hospitality property serving an ultra-high-net-worth membership. Reporting directly to ownership, this role has full accountability for operations, financial performance, service standards, and strategic growth across all aspects of the property, including the members club, residences and lodging, dining, wellness, recreation, and rental program.

This is a rare opportunity to build a world-class destination from the ground up. The General Manager will establish operating standards, create systems and processes, develop programming, grow membership, expand the rental business, and recruit and lead a high-performing team. Success requires an entrepreneurial, hands-on operator who thrives in a startup-like environment and is comfortable building infrastructure rather than inheriting it. This role is best suited for an ambitious hospitality leader who wants to leave a lasting mark on a premier new luxury club/residences. The successful candidate is resourceful, highly accountable, operationally strong, financially sophisticated, and energized by the opportunity to build systems, culture, and experiences from the ground up. They are equally comfortable engaging with owners and members at the highest levels while rolling up their sleeves to solve challenges and drive execution.

The ideal candidate combines luxury hospitality expertise, strong financial acumen, lodging and rental program experience, and the judgment and discretion required to serve ultra-high-net-worth owners and members with exceptional expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of property operations, including the members club, residences and lodging, dining, wellness, recreation, and guest services.

• Own and manage the property's P&L, budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.

• Develop and execute strategies to grow membership, utilization, revenue, and overall asset value.

• Build and oversee the lodging and rental program, optimizing occupancy, owner participation, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

• Establish service standards, operating procedures, systems, and performance metrics across the property.

• Recruit, develop, and lead a best-in-class management team and culture of excellence.

• Create and enhance member programming, events, and experiences that drive engagement and retention.

• Serve as the primary liaison with ownership, providing regular reporting, strategic recommendations, and operational leadership.

• Ensure exceptional service delivery while maintaining the highest levels of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Oversee pre-opening, launch, and ongoing growth initiatives as the club evolves.

Required Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality.

• Significant hotel and lodging operations experience, including responsibility for rooms, rental, or lodging programs.

• Demonstrated ownership of a P&L and strong financial management capabilities.

• Experience opening, building, scaling, or repositioning a hospitality property or business.

• Proven ability to work directly with ultra-high-net-worth owners, members, and guests.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach and willingness to personally drive execution in a developing organization.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with condo hotels, luxury mountain resorts, destination clubs, branded residences, or mixed-use hospitality assets.

• Pre-opening, ramp-up, or startup hospitality experience.

• Experience working with ownership groups, family offices, boards, or private investors.

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Compensation

• High six figures plus bonus, benefits, relocation, and housing support.
