Psychiatrist

Coastal Management Solutions is seeking a qualified Staff Psychiatrist to support the VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a dedicated physician looking to make a meaningful impact while serving our nation's veterans. Position Summary The Staff Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for veteran patients in an integrated healthcare setting. The selected candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high quality mental health services and support positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications as appropriate Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with VA policies and standards Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and quality improvement initiatives Provide patient-centered care that promotes recovery, wellness, and quality of life Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school Eligible to work in the United States Ability to meet all VA credentialing and privileging requirements Competitive compensation Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation leave Paid sick leave Paid federal holidays Professional and collaborative work environment Opportunity to serve America's veterans Coastal Management Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
