Ultrasonographer in Cambridge, MA

Qualifications:

• ARDMS or equivalent certification in diagnostic medical sonography
• Prior experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with strong capabilities in general ultrasound imaging
• Proficient in operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technicians in a fast-paced setting
• Current BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound studies on patients as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
• Assess image quality and adjust techniques as needed to meet diagnostic needs
• Maintain detailed reports and accurate patient records according to facility protocols
• Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
• Adhere strictly to infection control and safety guidelines
• Participate in collaborative case discussions and support a positive patient experience
