Women's Health Nurse (RN)

Women's Health Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Provides comprehensive obstetric nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum units, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Delivers clinical assessments, medication administration, and patient education while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide obstetric nursing care to women in labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum units, ensuring safety and comfort
• Perform cervical exams, fetal monitoring, and manage epidurals and amnio infusions
• Administer medications such as magnesium, pitocin, and IV therapies per protocol
• Educate patients on breastfeeding, postpartum care, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with OB-GYNs, NNPs, anesthesiologists, and hospitalists to coordinate care

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain one
• BLS, NRP, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Minimum 2 years Women's Health or Labor & Delivery experience
• Excellent clinical assessment skills and ability to manage multiple patients
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments
