Job Title

Dynamic Work schedule - This is 5 days on site a month- in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. ( They can fly/drive into the office as well). If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered. Fidelity determines the week they are working onsite, not the candidate.

Must Have:

Power BI Embedded Analytics DAX Front end Java / Web app experience

The Expertise We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in a technology with minimum of 5-7 year of work experience

Advanced knowledge & “hands-on” experience on Power BI!

Advanced knowledge & “hands-on” experience with Power BI Embedded Analytics (User Owns Data & App Owns Data)

Intermediate/Advanced knowledge & experience with SQL and good understanding of Data warehousing and Relational database concepts & technologies!

Exposure to Snowflake Cloud Datawarehouse

Exposure to Agile methodology

The Skills

• Strong experience in using Power BI Rest APIs/PBI cmdlets in Power BI Embedded Analytics context
• Experience in embedding Power BI artifacts such as reports, dashboards, and tiles, in a web application (Angular preferably) – App owns data
• Strong knowledge and implementation experience with Power BI embedding security models in User owns data & App owns data (including user context passing from web app to Power BI etc)
• Experience with building visualizations & complex data sets in Power BI
• Strong experience & knowledge in DAX
• Experience with tools like DAX studio/Tabular Editor/ALM toolkit/SSRS is beneficial
• Strong experience in security models in Power BI embedded analytics space
• Ability to take complex data issues, methodologies and analysis results and present them to business stakeholders through “visual stories”
• The ability to seamlessly understand reporting & analytics requirements
• Ability to analyze and synthesize a wide range of big data into valuable insights
• Data Analysis using SQL on data sources
• Experience on working with Power BI and Snowflake in Direct Query mode
• Ability to work and collaborate in globally dispersed organization
• Strong desire to learn and develop additional skills and expertise overtime, as well as drive process improvement
• Strong analytical, presentation and leadership skills
• Adaptable, flexible and thrive in a changing, dynamic environment
• Highly motivated, proactive, self-starter and works well with minimal supervision
