Position Summary: Barista

Our mission at 7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee is to “Inspire a community of kindness through a revolutionary coffee experience,” and the  Brewistas (our unique term for our expert coffee  baristas ) are the heart of that mission. They create genuine connections with every guest, deliver handcrafted drinks with care, and provide the personal service that defines the 7 Brew experience.

Brewistas interact directly with guests as  our energetic customer service baristas , taking orders face-to-face, confirming accuracy, crafting custom drinks, and hand-delivering drinks with a smile. They move with urgency on the ground, ensure quality in every cup, and bring positive energy to every lane.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence: Converse with customers to confirm their hand-crafted coffee and drink orders, and correctly key them into our point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Cash Handling: Collect payments for orders and correctly count back change to the customer.
• Drink Preparation: Prepare all specialty coffee drinks, energy mixes, smoothies, and premixes to brand standards as a productive barista.
• Speed of Service: Always move with urgency, working on the customer’s time in a fast-paced drive-thru environment.
• Teamwork: Stay productive and proactive throughout the entire shift, completing shift-change duties, checklists, and weekly chores.
• Brand Representation: Make personal connections with customers every day through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and positive body language. Know our menu and drink customizations inside and out to offer excellent menu recommendations.
• Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy food service environment by following organizational standards and local sanitation regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience as a barista, restaurant team member, server, cashier, front of house team member, or retail customer service is a plus, but not required
• Can create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with guests.
• Can work carefully and quickly with espresso, hot water, coffee, dairy products, and flavored syrups.
• Can work outside in our service lanes for prolonged periods, regardless of weather conditions.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs, sit, bend, kneel, squat, cand climb a ladder and stepladder as needed.
• Can remain standing for extended periods (typically up to 5-6 hours per shift). Reasonable accommodations will be made as required by law.
• Can safely use a utility knife.
• Works a flexible schedule.
• Works a minimum of two shifts per week.
• Follows company procedure for communicating time-off requests.
• Regularly works weekends and is available to work holidays if necessary.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
