Job Title: Instructor - Medicine - Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division: Medicine Location: Houston, TX Work Arrangement: 12‑month clinical instructor position focused on Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) and related procedures at Baylor St Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Summary A clinical instructor position is available immediately to advance expertise in ESD over 12 months. The instructor will independently perform all procedures pertaining to standard interventional endoscopy (EGD, COLO, ERCP, EUS) while actively training in ESD, POEM, and Full‑Thickness Resection. The role emphasizes hands‑on learning, patient‑centered care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to enhance outcomes. Job Duties Independently perform EGD, COLO, ERCP, and EUS procedures. Assist and participate in ESD procedures under expert supervision. Hands‑on participation in ESD/POEM cases under direct supervision. Participate in clinical case reviews, patient consultations, and post‑procedural care. Engage in educational activities within the section. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical documentation. Support development of clinical protocols and best practices in advanced endoscopy. Minimum Qualifications MD or equivalent with training in gastroenterology. Residency or fellowship training in gastroenterology and interventional endoscopy. Active Texas medical license and board certification. Visa sponsorship not available.
