As a technician, you will perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.**Responsibilities** • Receive and log concrete and soil samples along with additional testing as needed. • Performs and understand various laboratory test procedures • Assist in AMRL and CCRL (regulatory standards) assessments • Assist with Braun Quality system for the laboratory • Input and reduce laboratory test data in standard office format and file system.• Maintain laboratory equipment in good operating condition.• Other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned **Required Skills** • Ability to work independently • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook• Ability to learn how to perform less common but more complex geotechnically related laboratory tests.• Ability to learn how to use the various lab management systems.**Required Experience** • High School diploma or equivalent preferred • Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record• The ability to lift 50-75+ pounds• MoDOT or KDOT HMA, MoDOT or KDOT Soils certifications are strongly preferred (ability to obtain within a year required)#LI-PD1Braun Intertec is a Drug-Free Workplace and requires all new hires to complete a pre-employment drug screen test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.Braun Intertec employees are encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring.Braun Intertec offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, PTO, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and paid holidays.Compensation Range:$45,000.00 - $74,000.00*As an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran or disability status.**Braun Intertec strives to ensure that its careers web site is accessible to all.
