Miller/Howard Investments is an employee-owned, research-driven firm managing portfolios for a range of investors, from high-net-worth individuals to large institutions. For our dividend and infrastructure strategies, we focus on the quality of a company, its ability to grow income, and the sustainability of its business model and practices. We have integrated environmental, social, and governance (ESG) analysis with fundamental research since the inception of our first strategy in 1991. Objective: Support the sales team, including scheduling meetings, qualifying leads, following up on prospects, sharing sales opportunities with Sales Directors, and servicing existing financial advisors. Responsibilities include: Make prospecting calls to financial advisors to present Miller/Howard products and to identify advisors who are using SMAs and ETFs, and/or interested in Miller/Howard products. Make follow-up calls to financial advisors to further market to and qualify them as prospects. Align those prospects who have an interest in Miller/Howard products with the external sales representative(s) so that they can further market to them and/or arrange to meet. Make calls to financial advisors with active Miller/Howard accounts to provide updates on the portfolios, as needed. Send compliance-approved emails to financial advisors, as needed. Provide detailed reporting into SugarCRM for calls/voicemails, emails, leads, referrals, etc. Maintain SugarCRM database for actives and prospects, including researching and updating fields such as address, phone number, firm, group/group members, etc. Data entry on behalf of external sales staff. Work to identify top producers and code as such in CRM. Schedule meetings for external sales representative(s), as needed or requested. Provide general customer service to active advisors/prospects to retain and grow assets. Respond to financial advisor inquiries and requests in a timely, accurate, and compliance-oriented manner. Miller/Howard Firm Support All other duties as required or requested by management. Experience and Skill Requirements: 1-5 years of internal sales experience, preferably for an equity asset manager. FINRA Series 7 and 63 (required prior to or shortly after hire) Base compensation is approximately $75k, based on experience, plus quarterly sales bonuses and an annual discretionary bonus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
