Highlights Location: Manchester, CT Facility: Manchester Memorial Hospital Department/Unit: OR General Surgery Schedule: Full Time, Day shift What You'll Do Perform comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of patients' conditions and care needs. Collaborate with the surgical team to implement and evaluate individualized care plans. Follow the five medication rights to reduce potential medication errors. Ensure patient safety and positive outcomes by adhering to policies for patient identification and surgical procedures. Document nursing processes and responses to care in a timely manner. Demonstrate flexibility and organization in stressful situations. Utilize critical thinking skills in priority setting and delegation. Serve as a professional role model and mentor for personal and professional growth. Prepare surgical rooms with necessary instruments and supplies. Maintain aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures.
