HPC-Industrial , powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Certified Welder to join their safety conscious team! This opportunity is based out of the La Porte, TX area. This team member will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all certified related welding for specialized assets along with maintaining company equipment.

Responsibilities

• Welding materials together using SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), GMAW (gas metal arc welding), FCAW (flux-cored arc welding) & GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding)
• Basic fitting experience/knowledge
• Knowledge of raw materials and understands MTR's and electrode classifications.
• Gouging processes (air carbon arc, plasma arc, oxy-fuel)
• Cutting processes (mechanical and power tools, oxy-fuel plasma arc, air carbon arc, electric arc)
• Cleaning and checking for defects and shape component parts.
• Performing quality control
• Following directions given in drawings, blueprints, and work orders

Qualifications

What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?

• High School Diploma + specialized training or 1 year college
• 5 - 7 years welding experience
• Fabrication skills (e.g. cutting, grinding etc.) essential
• Required Certificate--GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding Certification
• Required Certificate--SMAW (Shield Metal Arc Welding Certification) Stick welding
• Required Certificate--FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding Certification)
• Required Certificate--GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Certification)
