Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking bold, innovative thinkers to tear apart our world of code and find vulnerabilities. Software and applications, PCs, Macs, Linux and IoT are all the objects of our investigation, so we need someone who likes to solve puzzles and deep dive into new topics to solve some of the most challenging problems. Our projects involve small teams working a variety of research efforts in close coordination with customers. As a technical leader, you will drive vulnerability research (VR) and operational success for our customers

Here's what you need:

• Experience utilizing full system emulation for research and analysis
• Experience with fuzzer development and custom forensic analysis tools
• Academic degree(s) in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent work and/or military experience
• Working knowledge of C, C++, C#, Java, Swift, Python, Bash
• Experience reading or writing assembly (x86, x64, ARM, PPC, MIPS, TILE, or others)  
• Working experience with Git, GitLab, Jira
• Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI eligible Security clearance.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience in operating system internals: kernel, scheduler, interrupts, context-switching, etc.
• Knowledge of modern software security mechanisms: stack cookies, DEP, ASLR, etc.
• Experience using debuggers such as gdb, WinDbg, OllyDbg Experience building and using tools to find, exploit, and productize vulnerabilities in complex software systems.
• Experience using reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, HexRays, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, or objdump.
• Working knowledge of exploitation techniques and mitigation bypasses, root kits, process hiding, communication hiding, bypassing detection of security products, securing data at rest and in transit
• Experience in Digital Forensic and Software Reverse Engineering
• The ability to operate on both sides of the fence, both developing and researching ways of defeating new and advanced security techniques.
• Prior experience with military or government cyber operations support.
• Experience participating in CTF events, bug bounty programs, and speaking at security conferences

Security Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI eligible security clearance required

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of  California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. $113,500—$234,900 USD
