Analyst Position at Toyota Financial Services

Toyota Financial Services is looking for highly motivated people to fill multiple openings as an Analyst in one of our Analytics teams. The primary focus of our Analytics teams is to generate actionable insights by leveraging data and using effective data storytelling to help our company make better data-driven decisions.

Teams We Have Openings On:

• Data Analysis (DnA): Providing reporting, ad hoc and insight generation/analytics primarily assisting our Contact Center Service Operations, Legal and Compliance, Sales, and other Corporate Functions.
• Pricing Analytics: Determining the appropriate interest rates to be paid by customers for our Consumer Finance Retail and Lease products.
• Learning and Development Analyst: Delivering actionable insights that enable the business to measure learning effectiveness and align employee capabilities with future business needs.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Uncover business needs and frame your analysis.
• Leverage SQL/Python/R coding skills to pull and organize data.
• Find insights by applying problem-solving, data exploration, and quantitative analytical skills.
• Assess impacts of possible actions based on your insight.
• Recommend actions through presentations, data visualizations, and clear communications.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to implement and measure recommended actions.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across Toyota.
• Continuously improve analytical, technical, communication, and people skills.
• Become a subject matter expert for your business area.
• Guide/mentor other analysts on best practices.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in any field with an emphasis on quantitative analysis.
• At least one year of equivalent and relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated relevant experience coding in SQL, Python and/or R.
• Creative and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Basic statistics knowledge.
• Presentation skills.
• Intellectual curiosity.
• Experience collaborating with others.
• Added bonus if you have MBA or Master's degree in an analytical field.
• Background in Auto Finance or Consumer Lending industries.
• Professional experience in one or more areas covered by the Analytics Job Family.
• Intermediate to advanced statistics knowledge.
