HVAC Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a reliable and experienced HVAC/Maintenance Technician. 1st shift but should be available to work over and weekends as needed, based on client need. 75k-85k Salary Job Description The HVAC Service Technician III is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Commercial/Industrial HVAC systems. Technical Skills System Installation and Repair: Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems. Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently. Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems and components. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Knowledge of Codes and Regulations: Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations. HVAC Software: Competence in using HVAC-specific software and tools. Soft Skills Effective Communication: Clear communication with clients and team members. Customer Service: Providing excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address and resolve issues. Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in all tasks to avoid errors. Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and lead a team when necessary. Responsibilities Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems efficiently. Project Management: Oversee HVAC projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance and support. Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and providing excellent service. Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service and installation activities. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial/industrial experience in HVAC service, troubleshooting, and PMs / maintenance service agreements. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC systems preferred. State of NC HVAC License Certifications: Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., EPA certification) are highly desirable. Skills: Strong troubleshooting, project management, and leadership skills. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using HVAC software. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks. Additional Requirements Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
