Peace, Mind and Life Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine client needs and develop tailored treatment plans, collaborating with psychiatrists and allied health professionals during staff meetings. \n
- Provide individual, couple, family, and group outpatient psychotherapy, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. \n
- Offer guidance to clients and their families about adhering to treatment plans and medication schedules, enhancing their understanding of the therapeutic process. \n
- Maintain detailed, confidential clinical records, including treatment plans, intake summaries, and ongoing progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards. \n
- Participate in mandatory on-call rotations, ensuring that clients receive timely support during emergencies. \n
- Utilize community resources and collaborate with other healthcare providers to assist clients with additional support systems necessary for comprehensive care. \n
- If trained, provide supervision to post-master's fellows or associate counselors, contributing to their professional development within the organization. \n
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups that educate clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available support services. \n
- Report any safety concerns or mandatory reporting issues to the appropriate agencies, ensuring client and community welfare. \n
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Peace, Mind and Life, you will work with a diverse client base, including adults, children, and families facing acute or chronic mental health conditions. Your role involves understanding the unique challenges each client faces and developing supportive and inclusive strategies to address their specific needs effectively, all while focusing on their overall well-being and resilience.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a relevant field from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California. \n
- A National Provider Identifier (NPI) must be obtained prior to hire. \n

- Previous experience working in community health settings or with diverse populations. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices for mental health treatment. \n
- Strong communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. \n
The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
