Key Responsibilities Works with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money‑management solutions. Recommends banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs. Triages client requests and makes referrals to internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds. Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities. Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial‑center clientele. Required Qualifications Current Series 7 and 66 licenses (or holds 63/65 in lieu of 66 within 60 days of hiring). Minimum one year of experience working in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded. Ability to set and accomplish goals, nurture relationships, collaborate effectively, communicate confidently, manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment, and incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities. Desired Qualifications Minimum one year experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services. Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment. Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC). Obtained insurance licenses. Skills Client experience and branding. Client solutions, advisory, and investment management. Pipeline management, referral management, and client management. Portfolio management, prospecting, referral identification, business acumen, executive presence, oral communication, risk management, and trading. Additional Requirements Position may involve residential mortgage loan origination and therefore requires SAFE Act registration, background check, and ongoing compliance with all registration requirements. Minimum Education High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent. Shift and Hours Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Location US – DC – Washington – 1800 K St NW (DC1842); 3100 14th St NW – Columbia Heights BC (DC1833). Pay Pay range $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 annualized salary, determined by experience, education, and skill set. Eligible for additional formulaic incentive plan, based on performance against defined metrics.
